Lip augmentation, £300. Hyaluronic acid filler to add volume, define the vermilion border and correct asymmetry.
Hydration and subtle definition. For patients who want texture and shape without added size.
Lip flip, £150. A small amount of botulinum toxin rolls the upper lip outward, increasing the pink show without filler. Subtle, inexpensive, and often all a patient actually wanted.
Lip lift. A surgical option for patients whose concern is the distance between nose and lip rather than volume. CLNQ performs this as a day-case procedure.
Dissolving, £150. We treat patients who have had work elsewhere and want it reversed or corrected, whoever did the original treatment.
What to Expect
Consultation and assessment, topical numbing for 20 minutes, then 15 to 30 minutes of treatment. Swelling for two to three days and bruising possible for up to a week. The final result settles at around two weeks — do not judge it before then, and do not book this a fortnight before a wedding.
Most hyaluronic acid lip filler lasts nine to twelve months. Lips metabolise filler faster than cheeks or jawline because they move constantly.
Our default is conservative. We would rather you came back for more than asked us to dissolve it.
Risks and Complications
Common and expected: swelling, bruising, tenderness and temporary lumpiness while the product settles.
Less common: asymmetry needing a small top-up, prolonged swelling, and nodules.
Rare and serious: vascular occlusion, where filler enters or compresses a blood vessel. It can cause skin necrosis and, very rarely, blindness. It is a medical emergency measured in minutes rather than hours, and the response is immediate high-dose hyaluronidase. It depends entirely on the injector recognising it at once and having the drug to hand.
That is the whole argument for a medical setting. Ask any clinic you are considering whether they keep hyaluronidase on site and what their protocol is. If the answer is vague, leave.
