About Mr Reza Nassab
Mr Reza Nassab is a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon and the founder and Medical Director of CLNQ. He graduated in medicine from the University of Birmingham in 2000 and completed plastic surgery training across Birmingham, London, Liverpool, Preston and Chester, before being awarded the FRCS (Plast) in 2011 — the intercollegiate fellowship that marks the completion of formal plastic surgery training in the UK.
He is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. That is the detail patients should check first and rarely do: in the UK, the title “surgeon” is not protected, and only doctors on that register have completed recognised specialist training in plastic surgery. Roles within the profession
Mr Nassab is an elected member of the Council of BAAPS, the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. BAAPS Council members are elected by the membership — that is, by other consultant aesthetic plastic surgeons — and the Council sets standards, guidance and patient safety policy for aesthetic surgery in the UK. Is Mr Reza Nassab a fully qualified plastic surgeon?
Yes. He holds the FRCS (Plast), the intercollegiate fellowship awarded on completion of UK plastic surgery training, and he is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. What does FRCS (Plast) mean?
It is the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Plastic Surgery, awarded after completing specialist surgical training and passing the intercollegiate specialty examination.
