OZONE THERAPY

What is Ozone Therapy?

Ozone therapy uses ozone, also known as O3, is colourless gas that comprises of three oxygen molecules.  The gas has been used for decades for a number of different purposes and there is a large body of research into the potential uses in medicine of ozone.  There are a number of review articles looking at these uses such as that published in the Journal of Natural Science, Biology and Medicine. It can be administered in a number of different ways such as infusion, insufflation or injections.  We use 1 to 10 passes by infusion at CLNQ for wellness.

How does Ozone work?

This involves the medical use of ozone, a colorless gas made up of three oxygen atoms. The therapeutic effects of ozone are attributed to its ability to increase the body's oxygen utilization and stimulate various biological responses. When introduced into the body, ozone triggers a cascade of reactions that promote healing and regeneration.

HOW IS OZONE THERAPY GIVEN?

At CLNQ, we offer 1, 2, 5 or 10 pass ozone intravenous therapy.  This is also known as autohaemotherapy.  This involves removing some of your own blood by a cannula.  This blood is then infused with ozone.  The ozone enriched blood is then injected back into the bloodstream through the cannula.  This process is repeated 1-10 times depending on the number of passes required.
